ULTIMATE BLT for those eating GLUTEN FREE
Since being gluten free, I have tried every kind of gluten free commercially processed bread and even tried to make my own, only to have always been disappointed.
Somewhere, somehow I read about Udi’s and decided, in a last ditch effort, to give it a try. I damn near cried when I took my first bite – moist, delicious, real bread.
After wiping up my tears, I knew I had to make a BLT. This delicious sandwich is the ultimate BLT (in the south it is bacon, lettuce and tomato). The bacon is smoked, the mayo is Duke’s with fresh basil added and the tomatoes – homegrown!
Just one bite and I was in love. Add to that a refreshing glass of iced tea and you have this side of heaven right here.
