I found out April, this year, that I have celiacs – apparently, I was gluten intolerant & that progressed to celiacs because I was not aware of the consequences of eating gluten. A friend of mine told me I needed to try Udi’s. I had seen it in the freezer section – but I liked my Food For Life – it was the best bread I had found & even though you had to toast it, it tasted like home-made bread to me.
My friend promised me that I wouldn’t regret trying Udi’s Gluten Free Bread. I bought the multigrain bread & about died. I made some french toast & couldn’t believe it was gluten free & that I was allowed to indulge in this "sin"! The only thing I noticed is that it was slightly dry & I didn’t think I’d ever have cold sandwiches – but it was WAAAAY better than Food For Life bread I had been eating.
Then, on a whim, I picked up a loaf of the Udi’s white bread. Again, much to my surprise, it was amazing – but the most interesting thing, the white bread is much more moist! I actually had a cold sandwich! It was fabulous! It’s so sinful – I feel like I’m sneaking a box of chocolates every time I have a sandwich – I really can’t believe it’s gluten free!
