Udi’s Helps Make Tracks for Celiacs!

Now that the weather is warming up, it’s time to flee winter cabin fever and step into the glistening sunshine! Looking for a way to play outside and support Celiac Disease research? Well, this Spring, you can join fellow gluten-free friends and lace up your sneakers to raise money for the Center for Celiac Research at University of Maryland. The Making Tracks for Celiacs Walk/Run series help promote awareness of the Center and its efforts in conducting research and supporting national initiative and local Celiac communities. In it’s 10th year, the various walks have already raised over $27,000 even before any steps have been taken!

Udi’s is excited to team up with the Center for Celiac Research as a national sponsor for the Making Tracks walks. As of now, there are seven walks in Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York and Virginia, but look for more to be announced.  Each walk is guaranteed to be fun-filled event with great people coming together for a fantastic cause.  And, now, our local Community Ambassadors will be there talking about our products and handing out delicious Udi’s Gluten Free Foods samples!

So, what are you waiting for? Head over to celiacwalk.org, register for your local event, reach out to friends and family for donations and get walking (or, if there isn’t an event near you, start your own walk)!
