Udi's in the U.P. eh!
I’ve been gluten free since I was diagnosed with Celiac Sprue in 2006. In 2008 I got married to my highschool sweetheart. The price of my new diet has always made me feel bad, and being a newly married college student with not much of a cash flow, I did my best to spend as little as possible. Even if that meant not buying bread or any pre-made gluten free foods (the prices on those always made me cringe). Then one day there was a new brand of food at our grocery store! AND IT WASN’T HORRIBLY EXPENSIVE!! I bought 2 loaves of bread, pizza crust, and a box of muffins. I didn’t eat anything but sandwiches for about 2 weeks straight i was so happy. Even now Udi’s is a blessing to me, since I have a son now and my husband has been added to the ranks of the many many unwillingly unemployed people in the U.S.. I have cut back on my spending again, but I can still afford to have sandwiches and the occasional pizza ;] Thanks again Udi’s for being fantastic!
