Denver, CO - January 23, 2010 - Everyone should be able to enjoy a slice of warm, delicious bread, even the millions of Americans who live with Celiac Disease and are unable to digest gluten. Udi's Foods which has long embraced the philosophy that food made with joy is a joy to eat saw an opportunity to create top-notch gluten-free products to satisfy the changing needs of consumers.
That's why the 15 year old Denver-based company launched Udi's Gluten Free Foods last year. Udi's line of gluten-free baked goods, which includes White and Whole Grain Breads, Pizza Crusts, and Blueberry and Lemon Streusel Muffins, are available now in grocery stores in 36 states, as well as for purchase online.
Each of Udi's five metro Denver restaurants serves a full gluten-free menu, making it easy for gluten-free customers to enjoy tasty, fresh meals. Udi's underwent a painstaking process of researching each ingredient in every dish to make sure it fits the proper gluten-free dietary requirements, with the Udi's restaurant in Arvada even serving wood fired gluten-free pizzas. Udi's Gluten Free baked goods are made using a secret recipe that was created solely for Udi's by Chad White, Udi's director of product development and a Certified Master Baker. Udi's has long been dedicated to using only the highest quality, wholesome ingredients in all of its products, from fresh baked gourmet breads and granola to cookies and pastries - and that tradition continues with the Gluten Free line of breads, muffins and pizza crusts.
