Gluten Free Good Mornings

April 19, 2011 at 10:09 pm

Breakfast can be difficult on a gluten free diet.  There’s the muffins, pancakes, scones, bread, waffles, and cereals most Americans indulge in on a regular basis when dining in the morning.  However for the wheat free eaters, and gluten intolerant dieters out there, breakfast has given mornings a whole new challenge. Recently I headed advice from […]   Read more »

Breakfast with Joyce, Whiskers, and Zoe

April 19, 2011 at 9:00 pm

My day begins around 8:30 or 9:00 a.m. I get up, get dressed, give Whiskers (my 11 pound MinPin Yorkie) his allergy pill and Zoe her treat, and then Whiskers and I off on our morning constitutional walk. Sometimes we make it all the way around the block and sometimes we don’t. It depends on […]   Read more »

Finally!

April 19, 2011 at 8:18 pm

Drooling throughout (though thankfully in private) over an Anthony Bourdain – No Reservations Chicago episode, I nearly wept when he visited the best Sausage palace in all of the city: Hot Dougs. Tragic as it is, I was forced to confront an awful truth to myself. “It’ll never be yours, Ivey. It’s only a dream. […]   Read more »

I have been gluten free for about 6 years and have not found a decent bread, until now! I could tell right away that the bagels and white bread smelled and felt […]   Read more »

April 19, 2011 at 2:18 pm

I have unfortunately tried about all GF beads, mixes, etc. As you know, most of them are not just not that great, most are terrible! So I am delighted that Udi’s bread and bagels are really fine. I don’t feel that I am missing anything in my life. I can’t wait to try the hotdog […]   Read more »

Real bread

April 19, 2011 at 2:18 pm

My husband and I have been doing gluten free since May 2010. I have probably tried 15-20 different recipies of rolls and breads. When I think I have it right, the next time it comes out way wrong. Finally, after throwing out numerous amounts of products, I was told about Udi brand products from my […]   Read more »
