Gluten Free Philly Cheese Steak Pizza (from Candace N.)

Ingredients

Extra Virgin Olive oil
1 Udi's Pizza Crust
1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
4 Slices Provolone Cheese
1 Bag Mixed Mozzarella & Provolone Shredded Cheese
1 Can Stems and Pieces Mushrooms
1 Slice Philly Gourmet Steaks For Sandwiches
1 Tablespoon Minced Red Onion
McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning

Directions

-First you take out your Udi's crust and I usually put it on parchment paper for easy clean-up. Then I take olive oil and cover the crust. Then add minced garlic which can be adjusted to taste, and spread it over the entire pizza crust. -Then I take the 4 slices of provolone and I cover the crust as evenly as possible. -Then I take the a slice of the Sandwich Steak and cook it as directed on the package. I add a little McCormick's Montreal Steak Seasoning to spice it up. Then I cut it up in strips and put it equally on the pizza. -Then of course the most important part of the pizza to me: you put on the mushrooms. Once again you do not have to use the whole can, but i do. -I sprinkle the onions over the pizza so that it's evenly coated. you could also add green peppers if you like but I am not a fan. -Finally you take the shredded cheese and cover the toppings to your liking, It usually takes around half the bag for me but I love cheese. -Bake the pizza at 400 degrees until it is done the way you like it, my preference is about 12 minutes. Thank you to Candace N. for this recipe.

Bacon Wrapped & Blue Cheese Stuffed Dates

Ingredients

  • 24 pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free blue cheese. Try Costello Blue Cheese.
  • 8-12 slices of bacon
  • 24 wooden toothpicks

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Prepare a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Slice the dates along the side so that they open flat for stuffing. Fill the date with about a teaspoon (more or less to taste) of blue cheese.
  3. Wrap it with a slice of bacon. Make sure that the blue cheese opening is completely sealed and the bacon overlaps underneath. Seal the stuffed date with a toothpick, and arrange (seam side down) on the baking sheet. Repeat with remaining dates.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the bacon is cooked and the cheese is lightly browned. Turn each date after 10 minutes.
  5. Remove and drain on a paper towel. Serve warm.
